Landing Pages
Part of the 90-Day Magnetic Pipeline System

A Page With One Job

A landing page is not a smaller website. It is one page with one ask, built so that somebody who only scans the headings still gets the whole argument, and so the people who arrive on a call have already qualified themselves. It is one of the eight parts of the Magnetic Pipeline System, and it is the first thing a visitor reaches that you actually own.

A Page Doing Five Jobs Does None of Them

Most sites are brochures with a contact form stapled on. They were built to represent the business rather than to move a particular person to a particular action, and it shows the moment somebody lands who does not already know you. The visitor reads a little, learns what you do, finds nothing asking them to decide anything, and leaves without trace.

  • radio_button_checked It describes what you do. Paragraphs about services and values, and nothing anywhere that tells the visitor what to do next or why now.
  • radio_button_checked Every section asks for something different. Book a call, download the guide, join the list, get in touch. Four asks compete, so the visitor resolves it by doing none of them.
  • radio_button_checked The headings are filing labels. Our Approach, Our Services, Why Us. Somebody scanning learns that sections exist and nothing about what is in them.
  • radio_button_checked Nothing qualifies anyone. A contact form takes all comers, so the calls it produces are a mix of real buyers and people who were curious.
  • radio_button_checked The only next step is a call. For the large majority who are interested but not ready this week, the page offers nothing at all, so they leave as strangers.

None of that is a traffic problem. The traffic arrives and the page gives it nothing to do.

What Changes When a Landing Page Is Designed With Purpose

The same number of people arrive. What the page does with them is the part that moves.

A Skim Still Lands the Case

Most visitors never read a full paragraph. A page built on purpose makes its whole argument in the headings, so twenty seconds is enough to get it.

Calls Arrive Pre-Qualified

The page does the filtering, so the conversations you take are with people who already understood the offer and wanted it anyway.

Every Channel Has Somewhere to Point

A post, a DM, an email and an ad all need a destination that finishes the job, rather than a homepage that hands the visitor a menu and wishes them luck.

Five Parts of a Page That Converts

In the order a visitor meets them, which is not the order most pages are built in.

01

A Scan Layer That Argues

Nobody reads a page, they scan it and then decide whether to read. Strip yours to its headings and the first line under each: if that list alone does not make the whole case, the page fails no matter how good the body copy is. Every heading carries a finding, never a filing label.

02

Exactly One Ask

One page, one conversion. The moment a second ask appears it competes with the first, and a visitor holding two choices usually takes neither. Everything else on the page either moves somebody toward that one action or comes off.

03

Proof Where the Doubt Is

A band of logos at the bottom answers nothing. Proof belongs immediately beside the claim a visitor is most likely to disbelieve, because that is the moment they are deciding whether to keep reading.

04

A Form That Asks for Less

Every field is a reason to abandon. Ask for what you genuinely need to have the next conversation and collect the rest once they are already in. Company size is not worth the people it costs you.

05

A Rung Between Browsing and Buying

A page whose only next step is apply or contact us captures the people who were already ready and loses everyone else. Something smaller has to exist for the visitor who is interested and three months early.

Where Landing Pages Sit in the Magnetic Pipeline System

It is the fourth layer, and it is the first one you own outright. Everything above it happens on somebody else's platform: the profile, the posts, the conversations. A landing page is where that traffic lands on ground you control, and where the offer finally gets to make its case at full length.

It cannot work alone either. The page needs an offer worth reading, something to hand the visitor who is not ready to talk yet, and a sequence that keeps the conversation going after they take it. Those are the parts either side of it, which is why the page is built fourth rather than first.

Landing Pages Are One Part of the Magnetic Pipeline System

A page that converts is worth little if nothing is sending the right people to it, and nothing is waiting for them afterwards. The Magnetic Pipeline System is the other seven parts built around it over ninety days, so the traffic arrives qualified and the names it captures go somewhere.
